An injury may slow you down, but it doesn’t have to stop you from exercising. Learn how to work around your limitations so that you can still stay healthy and fit.
Of course, if it is an acute injury you need to let it heal to ensure a proper recovery. If your injury is chronic then often times you can manage your injury with a proper physical therapy and rehabilitative program. This program should then be incorporated into your weekly workout routine. For example, if you are dealing with an ankle injury then it would be best to exercise your upper body while you let your ankle heal; and then do any rehab type exercises for your injury to complete your workout.
With any injury, always seek medical attention first to ensure that a proper diagnosis and treatment plan is provided.
